ICT as a Modern Solution to Security Threat, Early Detection and Prevention of Crimes Tangier, Morocco

The African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD) organized the “ICT AS A MODERN SOLUTION TO SECURITY THREAT, EARLY DETECTION AND PREVENTION OF CRIMES – Stepping-up the Use of ICT to Enhance Early Detection and Prevention of Crimes” for 15 participants from the African Union (AU). Countries represented were from the AU was Angola, Congo, Djibouti, Kenya, Lesotho, Mali, Republic of the Democratic Congo, Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.

The delegates comprised of ministers and senior government officials from the AU engaged in National Security crimes. Resource experts were from Malaysia, Andrin Raj of the IACSP, Dr. Siddik Ekici of the Turkish Police Directorate, Dr. Saleem Zoughbi from Palestine, Dr. Dauda Chika, Legal Adviser of the Public Service Institute of Nigeria, Monsieur Ce’sar fwani Sasi Malanda, Assistant Conseiller Special du Chef de l’Etaten matiere security R.D.C, Ms. Ottilia Maunganidze, Senior Researcher, Institute for Security Studies, South Africa.
